COFICO WAS SELLECTED TOP 5 ASEAN INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR

COFICO had effective applied BIM system based on technologies: 3D, Data, Website, Cloud computing. The System was named BIM EZ that has meaning “Easy” and Its aimed at supporting the customers and civil engineer. By using the BIMEZ, they can miximising the exploitation and using BIM models in a way convenient and automatic. With this applying, COFICO was sellected the Top 5 of Autodesk Asean Innovation Awards 2021.

On date 07/09/2021, The Autodesk Asean Innovation Awards 2021 officially anounced that COFICO has named on the Top 5 Asean – in the catergory’s Innovator of The Year. The Innovator of The Year is a part of four categories in Autodesk Asean Innovation Awards 2021 –  an annual competition that honors projects and individuals in the Asean region in using of innovative technologies including Building Information Model (BIM) and Autodesk solution in the Artchitecture – Engineering – Construction industry.

Four Category of Awards include: Innovator of the Year Award, Better World Builder of the Year Award, Alliance Award, Future Pillar Award. COFICO was honored to be sellected in the Top 5 of the Innovator of The Year Award – an award recongnizes companies are embracing Digital Transformation by using BIM to running the project from start to finish through improving overall productivity, site workflow with the helping of technologies and COFICO is one of them. Competiting this time has : Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Since established in the 2013 until 2018, COFICO has started experimenting BIM – Building Information Modeling from building 3D modeling (called 3D BIM) and exploiting data from these 3D models to getting information: Volume, Simulation, Drawing, Simulated rendering. As well as using the cloud BIM Mobile Application to serve Control Quality and Safety in Construction Project right at the site and Modern audio-visual technologies such as VR, AR (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality) also COFICO flexible use.

Since 2018 COFICO has started to come up and test the new idea based on BIM system – defined as a Construction Project Portal System – Using Online 3D BIM model, Cloud Data Management cloud, and further enhanced Applications that exploit data source such as Applications for 3D Coordination, 3D Temporary Work, 3D Progress Simulation, Document Management, Automated Reporting … to serve projects of COFICO.

The year 2020-2021 marks the first step of applying BIM EZ to COFICO Projects, as an Information Platform Solution that is individually developed and built for COFICO. The process of applying this system has contributed to improve Working Process – modernize Tools – increase labor productivity, construction quality of projects, contribute to minimize wastes of Materials, Resources, Time and Money for Client and COFICO Contractors when implementing construction projects.

This shows that COFICO does not only actively applied BIM to bring technologival benefits to Investors and Engineers, but also elevated this Technology as the Information Platform Solution for COFICO’s projects.Improved BIM technology has become more convenient for customers and engineers. It helps managing project information and data in a modern, fast, automatic, global method and non-stoppable developing.
