On October 22nd 2012, Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 – COFICO will officially execute the project Block D – Lixil Global Vietnam Factory in Long Duc Industrial Zone – Long Thanh Dist. – Dong Nai Province which is invested by Lixil Global Vietnam Ltd. The project Block D – Lixil Global Vietnam Factory has its 317,737 m2 of land area and around 71,995 m2 of construction area being expected to finish in August 2013.
Although it is evaluated that most of enterprises in construction industry will be faced to many difficulties in 2012, COFICO with the reputation and experiences accumulating through projects has been getting the absolute trust of local and oversea partners, especially the strategic partners from Japan as Maeda Corporation, Daiwa House Vietnam Ltd. Consecutively, in 2012, COFICO has been together with them to build lot of mega factory projects in Ho Chi Minh City such as No.2 SGL & CCL Factory invested by Sun Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company, SUZUKI Factory invested by SUZUKI Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Engineering Procurement & Construction for RM/PM/FG Warehouse of P&G Indochina Ltd,……and currently the project Block D – Lixil Global Vietnam Factory.
