In the morning of July 5, 2019, COFICO cooperated with Matsuo Confectionary (Japan) Co., Ltd. and KIRIN Engineering Co., Ltd. to successfully organize the Groundbreaking Ceremony of TIROL Choco Vietnam Factory Project in Lot 241, Road 12, Amata Dong Nai Industrial Park.
Senior representatives of TIROL CHOCO Co., Ltd. (Japan), KIRIN Engineering Co., Ltd. (Japan), COFICO Board of Directors, subcontractors – suppliers and employees of the Companies attended in this event.
At the groundbreaking ceremony of the project, representing the Investor, Mr. Yuji Matsuo – General Director based in Japan and Japanese Contractor and Mr. Osamu Hirai – Chairman of KIRIN believed that the capacity of the staff COFICO and the management board of the factory will successfully work to complete this pioneering project in Vietnam as well as achieve critical quality and schedule requirements.
In response to the trust from the Japanese partners, Mr. Le Dang Vinh – COFICO’s General Director also shared that with the prestige and brand of COFICO, it is trusted by numerous large international partners, including Japan, COFICO commits to focus our resources to coordinate with KIRIN ENGINEERING to deploy and complete the project on schedule, ensuring the quality and safety of the project, meeting the requirements and expectations of the Investor.
Responding to the trust of the Investor and the Board of Directors, immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the TIROL’s Project Management Team will focus on maximizing resources to implement the construction work, determined to complete into a safe project, on schedule and with committed quality.

TIROL Choco Vietnam Factory at Lot 241, Road No. 12, Amata Dong Nai Industrial Park is the first project marking the historic business development of Matsuo Confectionary Co., Ltd. when this company invests in Vietnam.
The CFA of TIROL Choco Project is over 10,000 m2. This project is located in the key economic region of the Eastern South Region, Amata Industrial Park, Dong Nai. Estimated construction time is 9 months. COFICO will attend as a Vietnam Construction Contractor including design and construction work for workshop and sub-works.
