On 17 June 2013, The Ground Breaking Ceremony of Nippon Paint Factory was held in Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province. The factory is the first one in the North and the third one in Vietnam.
Mr. Le Dang Xu – Chairman cum CEO of COFICO, Mr. Phung Quang Hung – Chairman of Vinh Phuc Province, Mr. Mr Fujita Tetsuro – Managing Director of Nippon Paint South East Asia and other representatives were in the ground breaking ceremony.

This project is expected to complete on 15 January 2014 including a two storey office block, a single storey warehouse, a two storey factory, infrastructure, external works and ancillary works.
