MOU Signing Ceremony between COFICO and Civil Engineering Faculty of HCMUT

In the afternoon of October 31, 2019, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology held a signing ceremony of the MOU between COFICO and Faculty of Civil Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Participants in the signing ceremony, include respresentatives of HCMUT DCE: Dr. Le Anh Tuan – Dean of Faculty, PhD. Do Tien Sy – Head of Department of Construction Management; Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu – Director of BIMLab; MSc. Dao Quy Phuoc and COFICO’s representatives include Mr. Le Dang Vinh – General Director; Mr. Nguyen Huu – Deputy General Director; Mr. Le Bao Chau – Project Director; and Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan – IT Manager. The cooperation agreement between COFICO and DCE aims to build a long-term development investment partnership to support student generations. Accordingly, the emphasized content is that COFICO will accompany DCE in all activities for students such as career introduction and orientation, skills training and career sharing, curriculum, COFICO’s scholarships, professional training for students as well as exchange activities between businesses and the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Dang Vinh – General Director shared the strategic orientation as well as the activities of the COFICO in recent years. Many of the interns after completing their internship have become COFICO’s young engineers. He believes that COFICO and its partners will continue to accompany the Faculty of Civil Engineering in training, orienting, receiving, and supporting students of this faculty. Responding to the enthusiasm of COFICO, Dr. Le Anh Tuan – Head of Civil Engineering Faculty believes that the relationship between the two parties will have strong development steps in the future. The relationship of students, Faculty of Civil Engineering and COFICO is a great opportunity for sustainable development in the future. The signing ceremony marks a very important milestone for the good cooperation between COFICO and Faculty of Civil Engineering, HCMUT. Collaborative agreements provide faculty students with the opportunity to navigate career development, be exposed and trained by businesses while still in the school chair and have many opportunities after graduation.
