Annual Summit 2014 in Da Lat

On 21^st November 2014, COFICO held the Annual Summit 2014 in Da Lat Edensee Resort with title “Competing for the future”.The Summit had attendance of senior leaders of GAMMON – COFICO – MAEDA, strategic partners and COFICO’s board of management. Senior leaders of Maeda – Cofico – Gammon and Cofico’s management board at the Summit. Mr. Le Dang Xu – Chairman cum CEO of COFICO gave speech to commence the Summit. He presented outstanding activities, showed high appreciation to strategic shareholders, Mr. Thomas Ho – CEO of Gammon (Hong Kong) and Mr. Koichi Obara – President of Maeda Corporation (Japan) for their enthusiastic support on COFICO’s staff that enables COFICO to approach and apply advanced technologies to construction activities of COFICO. Mr. Le Dang Xu was giving speech to commence the Summit. In the event, Mr. Koichi Obara – President of Maeda Corporation (Japan) gave speech “Role of Construction in social development through development route of Maeda Corporation” with honest shares of barriers, challenges and “Getting over General Contractor” business strategy of Maeda. Mr. Koichi Obara at the Summit To succeed the event, Mr. Thomas Ho – CEO of Gammon (Hong Kong) presented the subject “Construction Transformation through Prefabrication”. Following successful first steps of applying BIM technology to construction activities, COFICO and strategic shareholders have been moving forward to deploy the prefabricated technology on construction to enhance work performance and projects’ quality. Mr. Le Dang Xu was giving souvenir to Mr. Koichi Obara, Mr. Thomas Ho and Mr. Wang Chang – Chairman of Nippon Paint Viet Nam.   Before closing the Summit, COFICO’s staff, shareholders and clients together congratulated and marked a remarkable milestone in career path of Mr. Le Dang Xu – his 40 years anniversary attached construction field in Viet Nam.
