Under the approval of the Committee of Industry Group Corporation Saigon Construction, Company Party Secretary and the company management board, the Executive Board and Labour Union Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 – COFICO held Labour Union Representative Congress term 2012-2014 at 8 am on 08 May 09, 2012.
Attending were Mr. Tran Sy Binh – President of the Union Corporation, Mr. Le Dang Xu – Secretary of the Party Committee and CEO of the company and all the delegates, representing 348 union members. On behalf of the Union Board, Mr. Le Kim Dinh – COFICO Union president read last term activity reports, highlighted the shortcomings and provides lessons for a new coming period 2012-2014, also setting up for more practical “employee directing” policies.
After 4 hours of sincerely hard work, the General Assembly elected the new Executive Committee Unions 2012 – 2014 period with 15 members – most of the selected are young, dynamic and enthusiastic. From new selected committee, it promises to successfully transferring a fresh air for the union activities on new term. In addition, Congress also voted to select 09 delegates Trade Union Congress Corporation Saigon Construction, scheduled to be held in December 2012. The congress wraps up successfully at 12:30 on same day.
