COFICO was highly ranked in the list of 500 Largest Vietnamese Enterprises in 2008

On January 2nd 2009, Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 received VNR500 Certificate from Vietnam Net newspaper and Vietnam Report JSC with honor. The award certified that COFICO is one of 500 Largest Vietnamese Enterprises in 2008.

VNR500 is the annual survey by Vietnam Report JSC, advised by domestic and overseas economic experts, leading by Deputy Headmaster from Harvard Business School – Pro. John Quelch and Dr. Will Rodge – Chairman of Consultants Cambridge, USA. VNR500 is built on scientific, independent and objective principles and the scheme of Fortune 500. In 2008, VNR500 was built on the latest investigation from the departments concerned (includes Statistical Department, Tax Department. etc.) over 150.000 enterprises of the country. Turnover was one of the most important criterions which were based on to rank among the enterprises. In addition, being in the list of 500 Largest Vietnamese Enterprises, COFICO has an opportunity to join Vietnam largest enterprise club (VNR500 Club) in order to learn and exchange experiences as well as popularize the company’s brand name to all businesses in domestic and overseas market.
