COFICO SIGNS CONTRACT FOR EAST PACIFIC FOODS FACTORY PROJECT

On the morning of March 30, 2024, Construction Corporation Number 1 – COFICO had the honor to collaborate with Dan On Foods Corporation in organizing the signing ceremony for the implementation contract of the East Pacific Foods Factory Project at The Reverie Saigon Hotel. The event attracted the attention of key leaders and personnel from both companies, along with representatives from reputable organizations such as the Canadian Consulate General, the Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), Siam Bank, Kasikorn Bank, AmCham, EuroCham, and longstanding partners of both parties.

During his speech at the ceremony, the Chairman of Dan D Foods Group shared about the history and development of Dan On Foods Corporation – a member of Dan D Foods Group in Vietnam, expressing confidence in and high appreciation for COFICO’s expertise and experience in Design & Build projects for food processing and manufacturing plants. This project will continue the success of the Dan On Foods Factory – Phase 2, which was constructed by COFICO in 2020.

In response to the trust from Dan D Foods Group and Dan On Foods Corporation, COFICO’s Chairman – Mr. Le Dang Xu, expressed sincere gratitude to the investor for choosing COFICO once again to carry out the East Pacific Foods Factory Project. COFICO is confident in meeting the highest requirements and standards of the client, while ensuring the quality and efficiency of the project, thereby bringing long-term value and further strengthening the close cooperation between the two parties.

The official contract between Dan On Foods Corporation and COFICO was signed by the CEOs of both companies, Ms. Luu Bao Hoa and Mr. Le Dang Vinh.

The ceremony was not only a milestone for the commencement of an important project but also an opportunity for all stakeholders to demonstrate their determination and commitment to the successful and efficient implementation of the project. The contract signing ceremony for this project was successfully held with the participation and witness of both companies, creating an atmosphere full of excitement and inspiration for all participants.

This marks an important beginning, signifying the firm commitment and decisive action of both partners in carrying out the project successfully and achieving positive results. The event concluded successfully and beautifully in the morning of the same day.

Dan On Foods Corporation, a subsidiary of Dan D Foods Group, is headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, with other branches in the United States, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Dan On Foods Corporation was established in Vietnam in 1999 and specializes in providing products made from cashews and other nuts such as almonds, macadamias, etc. Currently, Dan On operates factories in Canada, the United States, and Vietnam.

The East Pacific Foods Factory project covers an area of approximately 90,000 square meters, with a total investment capital of up to 100 million US dollars. It is designed to focus on the specialized production and processing of products made from various nuts, especially cashews, such as biscuits, chocolate bars, nutritional nut milk, etc., serving both domestic and export markets to Canada, the United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and other Asian countries with high quality requirements.
