COFICO Officially Signed The Contract Of VietcomBank Tower Project – Superstructure Work

On the evening, June 16th 2012, Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 – COFICO and Vietcombank – Bonday – Ben Thanh Joint Venture Company Limited officially signed the contract of Vietcombank Tower Project – Superstructure Work at Sheraton Hotel – HCMC.

Mr.Le Đang Xu – Chairman and CEO of COFICO và Mr. Ngo The Khai – Member of the Board of Management and General Director of Vietcombank – Bonday – Ben Thanh Joint Venture Company Limited officially signed the contract.

In the ceremony, there were presented by all of representatives such as: Investor  Vietcombank – Bonday – Ben Thanh Joint Venture Company Limited, Main Contractor COFICO, Project Management Consultant Apave VN & Southeast Asia, Design Consultant Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, Quantity Survey Consultant Rider Levett Bucknal and the other contractors, suppliers.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thanh – Chairman of Vietcombank – Bonday – Ben Thanh Joint Venture Company Limited and CEO of The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of VN was in the opening speech.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thanh – Chairman of Vietcombank – Bonday – Ben Thanh Joint Venture Company Limited and CEO of The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam presented: Vietcombank Tower Project located in city centre – Me Linh Point Square, is a very special and important project of Vietcombank and Vietcombank – Bonday – Ben Thanh Joint Venture Company Limited. Therefore the professional main contractor, which its capability and experience has been affirmed in Vietnam and Asia, should be accompanied with such the international design consultant as Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. Through a very strict competitive selection progress and the capable demonstration by basements package, COFICO now becomes the Main Contractor of Vietcombank Tower Project for Superstructure Work.

Recognizing the project‘s key role and the main contractor’s responsibilities, Mr. Le Dang Xu – Chairman and CEO of COFICO has committed that COFICO will do all the best to mobilize manpower, equipment and establish management system in order to well accomplish the project ‘s goals of schedule, quality, labor safety as the Investor’s expectation.

Being a modern architecture high rise building designed by a well known consultant, Vietcombank Tower Project is expected to be a unique architectural landmark in HCMC centre with the high economic efficiency on 2014. This is the third mega project won by COFICO within one month.
