After more than four months of construction, on Aug 4th 2011, COFICO inaugurated of the safety training center at the address 606/147, 3/2 Street, Ward 14, Ho Chi Minh City, located on the area over 1.000m². The distinguished guests in the ceremony were representatives from Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Labor Safety Inspectorate, City Labor Federal and many of important strategic partners.
The purposes of the safety training center:
– Guide to use of labor protection equipments and instruments, improve knowledge of safety awareness, discuss topics of hazards and risks and set up safety management system.
– Coordinate with experts, expert departments to train and organize special seminars to improve the knowledge of labor safety.
In the ceremony, the Labor Safety Chief Inspector in HCM City said: “This is the first safety training center of contractor in the whole country. The establishment of COFICO safety training center shows not only the interest of their leaders to employees’ benefit and safety but also the positive contribution to society ’s development, therefore going on to socialize safety protection activities to employees.
